Is winter over yet??

DJ has been very busy, even with the cold weather DJ and Devon have been to story times, playtimes and other outings. We celebrated Grandma's birthday on Thursday and had a nice dinner with her.

The family did a trip to North Iowa on Friday, Mommy for business, the boys for fun. DJ and Devon spent time with Grandpa Mau and had quiet fun.

We made a few stops for Devon that were quiet fun, Taco Tico (*a childhood memory*) and then opened a Christmas gift from Grandpa Mau. It is quite fun as well to visit some different areas.

We are tired of the cold weather and would like to get outside and out and about more often. Hopefully the weather starts to get better and we can play outside and burn off some energy!

Happy 16 Months!

Well, it has been a few weeks since our last post. We have been busy, trying to keep a very active little boy entertained in FRIGID temps and lots of snow. But, Devon has done a great job and I try to help out in the evenings. Fortunately, its getting warmer and therefore...better to take DJ out and about. DJ is becoming a very big boy, he is exploring and curious about everything as well as using his words quite well.

Words that he has mastered are: Words we are very close too are: Momma,Dada, Good Girl,Downstairs,Upstairs,Milk,Cat,Cracker,Car,Tractor,Moo Moo,Hello,Papa,Love You, Football,Touchdown,Hawkeyes,Duck,Ball,Elmo,Cookie and Uh Oh.

We are still working on-Grandma and Grandpa as well as several others!

He is quite into everything and just on Monday mastered a new trick, we have included it for your viewing pleasure. Please note Devon is right next to him out of the camera's view and DJ is completing this task with his morning cracker (one of 7 or so) but, still quite accomplished!!

We rang in the New Year by having Grandpa Mair visit. It was a nice visit and he brought some great Christmas gifts for DJ.

It was a nice visit and all were in bed before 10pm to celebrate New Year's Eve.

DJ's resolutions are as follows:
1. Sleep more consistently and/or better!!
2. Learn more words! (working on my letters with Fridge Phonics)
3. Drive all my new vehicles daily!
4. Grow bigger and stronger to become a real big boy
5. Give more love, hugs and kisses to my family!
