Happy Father's Day!!

This Father's Day was very low-key, which is appropriate for Devon and DJ.  We were fortunate that DJ got to have a WHOLE Grandma day on Saturday and then we picked him up on Sunday mid morning.  Therefore the rest of the day was napping and errands with a brief playtime at the park. 

Devon said the benefit of being a stay-at-home dad is everyday is Father's Day!

Happy Father's Day to all the Dad's in our lives!!

An Afternoon at the Lake

We are fortunate to have a job where the whole family gets to travel, I had business in north Iowa and the boys were able to visit with Grandpa Mau and Great Grandma Butler.

DJ was fortunate to get to play at the new Klemme playground as well as swim in the lake.  He also helped Grandpa around the house doing a few chores!

DJ and I traveled to Illinois to visit family and friends and give Devon a break! We had a great time and got to take some great pictures.

Then  we went swimming at our friend's who happen to live on a farm.  DJ was certain, their house was perfect!  Konner and DJ are 5 days apart and Konner is older!!

Finally, we played on the swing set, which has a corn field as a background and a 3-legged dog, what is more appropriate!

A Day at the Zoo

 

Two weekends ago decided to hit the Blank Park Zoo, its a small zoo so we were able to cover it all in about 2 1/2 hours.  We had a good time and DJ had a lot of fun! 

DJ found out the Zoo has a train....

DJ fed the fish, they REALLY liked the food!

DJ also fed the animals, then we sanitized our whole body!!
