Well its been a busy past 7 days! Last Wednesday was a beautiful day and DJ and I went to the park on my first day of vacation. He was quite a good little boy and enjoyed the slide and swing.
On Thursday, we left for Oklahoma City, we got as far as Wichita that night and then drove the rest of the way on Friday morning. We had a GREAT visit with Al and Peg. It was great to see then, have them "meet" DJ and spend time together. I will post pictures of all of us shortly. They are on Devon's camera.
We were able to take the Oklahoma City water taxi and see the sights of Downtown. We also got to attend the Health and Fitness Expo and get ready for the 5K walk.
However, it wasn't meant to be.....DJ came down on early (2am) Saturday with a nasty cough and therefore to the ER we went...he has croup again! Poor little guy-- I want Spring more than anything for no more colds!
We decided to not do the race due to DJ's sickness and left early on Sunday for home...a long 10 hour drive home...and we made it safe and sound.

DJ, so sorry about the cough - you would have probably won that race! You always look like you're having a good time even with the cough. It was fun to play peekaboo with you on Tuesday evening. You can really giggle. Hope to get to play with you again soon.
