Our 1st Plane Ride to Oklahoma!

DJ and I took a trip to Oklahoma City and took DJ's first plane ride.  We drove to KC airport and flew out on Thursday morning and returned on Sunday morning.  We had a great time with our "family" and our friends Mimi and Uncle Al were very welcoming and we loved our time.

It's a Barnstormer's Game and Win!

We had a fun time as a family at the Barnstormer's game last night.  Devon loves it and has been several times this season but, wanted to take DJ for his annual game.  We made it through the whole game and then were able to make it out on the playing field.  We played some football and got a few signatures.

Fun Firework Filled 4th!

We were very busy over the 4th of July weekend.  We spend time at Lake Cornelia with Grandma, Great Grandma Butler, Uncle Dillon and Grandpa Mau.  Swimming, fishing and lots of playing!  DJ loves the water and we do not hesitate to let him play till he is exhausted. 

We then returned home to hit the Urbandale 4th of July carnival and parade.  Fireworks rounded out the fun weekend!
