We had a nice Christmas day with the family, and unfortunately the weather has delayed the Mair Christmas yet again. When the ice/snow decide they will tame for a day or more, we will meet up to celebrate. Hopefully soon!

We did get to visit with all of Devon's family and had a very nice Christmas day. The days following were warm and nice and then cold and icy. Unfortunately, the changing weather is definately playing havoc on our immune systems. I am finally in the end of the cold, and DJ is recovering quickly behind me. However, Devon is not as lucky and has been pretty ill...lets hope that he can recover quickly in the next few days.

I have a few pictures, the first is of DJ "praying" for more toys for Christmas next year. He really is developing his milestones, he is constantly clasping his hands and putting anything he can in his mouth. He is gaining control and working on sitting in his Bumbo seat and is gaining leg muscules that he can stand briefly on his feet when supported. It is amazing how strong he is!

I like the picture of the two boys, it is amazing how much bigger Nico is, he is truly taking the older cousing role and running with it!

Merry Christmas!!

Well, it is Christmas. It is snowy and cold so we are definately in the Midwest. We are getting ready for Christmas Eve tonight and will be celebrating tomorrow with the Mau's and Butlers. We are looking forward for the two cousins, Nico and DJ, to have their first Christmas together.

The Mair Christmas will be the 26th and 27th if they can make it with the weather!

We got DJ a few more pictures with his sled for Christmas and in his snow suit.

3 months old

Its hard to believe that 3 months ago we didn't know what our little man could do to our world. In a brief quarter of a year we have learned that the world no longer revolves around us, our needs are minimal, you can function on 3 hours of sleep and that the smile of your son can bring so much joy. DJ turned 3 months on Thursday and its hard to imagine what life was ever like before him. He is really turning into quite a little man. He is quite happy, smiles often and is finally settling into a schedule of sorts and for the past few nights has slept from about 800pm to 5am. It is has been wonderful and restful.

Saturday we went up to see his Great Grandparents at Lake Cornelia. We had very nice visit and DJ charmed them with his dancing, smiling and cooing. We then headed back home, had a brief visit with Grandma Butler and today we are having his 3 month pictures taken and doing some Christmas shopping.

Hope everyone is having a great holiday season, we are truly counting our blessings this year.

I have two pictures, one of Great Grandpa Butler playing with DJ and the final of DJ's new past time, shaking his rattle. Before we know it he will be lifting weights and preparing for his sport of choice!

Santa's Little Helper

DJ had his first opportunity to meet Santa last night. He did quite well and whatever secrets they exchanged..it worked as DJ slept through the night! He slept from 830 to 500am, Mommy and Daddy work up a few times to make sure he was okay but....he was great! Busy few weeks are coming with Holidays and all and we wanted to get the chance to get a DJ and Santa picture!

Happy Holidays everyone!

It's beginning to look alot like Christmas

Last week was a great long week. DJ came down with the flu on Monday and left daycare early. We then opted to keep him out for the rest of the week with the holiday. He got a little spoiled (okay ALOT spoiled) but, it was nice to have all three of us together for 3 whole days. We got quite a bit of snow over Saturday and we took a few pictures of DJ outside on his sled. He was not quite enjoying it!
