Summer Fun has begun!!

DJ and I went to the pond at DMACC in Ankeny for a small picnic
Then his normal daily walk ALL the way down our street, which is a normal city block!

The boys went on a field trip to Camp Dodge and checked out the tanks and planes.
(Awesome for little boys and its free!)

Then we have our traditional rope bridge climb of the week, however they make it to the park about 3-4 times a week!

Uncle Dillon came for a visit and took DJ on a walk, or vice-versa!

Grandpa Mair visited on Friday and let DJ "DRIVE" the big white van!!

Then we "washed" our vehicles in the backyard, never let a little boy have a hose!!

DJ as normal has been active with Daddy daily, this is what I find when I ask the boys to setup the pool on Saturday afternoon....I do not know who started it but, seriously who is the bigger kid??

Daddy my feet are wet!!!! Daddy you should have packed the water shoe's Mommy got me!!

Elmo's Green Thumb Live

The Mau family had wild plans for a trip to Chicago and to see Uncle Bobby and some Arena Football. I loves Arena football, however Mommy and Daddy rewarded me with a trip to see Elmo's Green Thumb tour. It was such a blast I got to see all of my frienda, Elmo, Ernie and Bert, Cookie Monster, Big Bird, Grover, Oscar, Rosita, Telly, Zoe and Abby. Mommy bought me a brand new Elmo doll that I sleep with every night and Daddy got me some Pizza and Cookies. However the Cookies were not as good as Mommy's. I can recall every second of the Concert, except for the last 10 mintues. ( DJ crashed out)

Mommy Elmo-Elmo-Elmo MOMMY

I can honestly say that I am blessed to have the TWO best men in the world. I love them for their gentle nature, sweet thoughts and caring actions. Devon and DJ are the best. They truly spoiled me today and we have lots of pictures to prove it. It was a busy day at the Mau house!

We did the following:

1. Took a family walk and worked out at the track

2. Ran a few errands and went shopping

3. Took Grandma to Brunch and lots of pics

4. Visited with Great Grandpa Butler

5. Went to the park and played with all kinds of toys.

6. Watched the Amazing Race, Momma's fav show!

I am so lucky to have DJ and Devon they are what makes Mother's Day worthwhile!

It's Tulip Time in Pella

We had a great Thursday evening by going to Tulip Time in Pella. It was great, weather was not perfect however, it was not raining! We enjoyed ourselves with good food, great architecture and beautiful flowers! It was fun.

Busy times and lots of travel

We have done ALOT of traveling over the past month and have been very busy.  All in all we are doing well as a family and DJ is doing well.
Here are a few pictures to recap our travels--more to come later.

DJ and Daddy at the Iowa City Mall play area with Herky of course!

DJ and cousin Reid (celebrating Great Grandma Mair's life)

DJ eating Panchero's in downtown Iowa City-this is our "stopping point" between Princeton and Des Moines

DJ enjoyed "driving" the fuel truck for Grandpa Mair, I do believe we have a job opportunity of the future!
